Hey team, are there going to be skidmarks?
And how we're going to use them, as a repeating sprite?

I would think you could use either a repeating sprite or a stretched one. Can you scale a sprite plane along a single axis in real time during gameplay? That would probably look more natural than a repeated image since it would be seamless.

Yes but then, what if I change the direction of the movement (while braking), never mind, I'll try to draw them on the road in runtime.

Not so soon, I have to implent the wheels and tires first (and a rotation must look real).
