Prva strava stvar je da igra ne mora biti remake, druga jos bolja stvar je da traze dobru igrivost i nista vise!
It doesn't have to be a remake, it can be retro inspired or an original idea. What we're looking for is the best games. The games with that incalculable something, the thing that makes you come back to it repeatedly - playability!
To this end, we recommend the following time scale to consider whilst developing your entry: (OVO je jako bitno za shareware igre i to moramo zapamtiti..ne ne.. to moramo primjeniti!)
i) The quality and objective of the game is obvious within the first minute of play.
ii) Within five minutes - "I'm getting it, and I'm having fun" should be your goal.
Playability is the key.. I par samo bitnih pravila:
4. Due to the nature of the prizes - this years competition is only open to residents of the UK. (Our forum regulars are running a competition alongside for the international contingent who are hungry for a challenge. This is in no way associated with the official competition, nor will you be eligable for the prizes available here should you enter the unofficial competition).Ne kuzim ovo (4.)... ali nije ni bitno!
6. Entries must be playable on a regular Windows XP machine with no additional installations required. (other than winzip)
7. We will not accept any entries that require an installer in order to run.po mom misljenju ovo je koma, jer vecini treba instaler da bi se npr. engine dll registrirao pravilno kako bi i radio.. tako da ce trebati izmislit neki mali programcic koji to radi umjesto same instalacije.
8. Entries submitted must also be under 10meg.12. All entries must include a readme.txt explaining everything there is to know about the game.
All entries must include four screenshots of your game/entry, 640x480 in size, preferably without borders around and include a screenshot of the title screen.13. Entrants must not be professional game designers etc... working within the games industry at present. We wish to encourage "amateur" coders, designers and artists with their craft.
