Snakey

Snakey is our very first game, built as a love letter to the classic arcade snake. The core idea is timeless: grow longer, stay alive, and keep chasing the next bite.

We added smoother controls, more responsive movement, and a cleaner playfield so each run feels fast and readable. The pace ramps up naturally as your snake grows, making every point earned feel like a small victory.

There is also an innovative twist: whenever Snakey eats the food and grows longer, it poops. If you eat the 💩, you become shorter, creating a new risk-reward loop mid-run.

Released in 2001, Snakey marks the moment Generation Stars stepped into game development. It is simple to learn, hard to master, and still a great pick for short, high-score sessions.
