Zombie Driver

Description:
You drive a car on a parking lot, your goal is to defend your life by running over zombies that are comming from all directions
You're going to DIE. Endless swarms of zombies are coming for you, how long can you hold out? Play because you must be the best and beat the rest!

good show.. I don't know if you noticedwhen you driving over sand with one wheel and other wheel over asphalt, you drive cca 67 a you made that car goes 46 max on and and 100 max on asphalt :)

hehe, I made it like that, each wheel takes about 30% of speed when driving over sand..!

- Complex Collision detection between zombies and player's car, but still one problem persists, when zombie touches the car he stops moving until detached from car...

- All the car-zombies collisions are done
- Some cheats
- Max zombies: 300 (every 2sec new one comes from outside)

Next:
- On a car-zombies collision, they are braking the car
- On a strong it, braking the car
- Zombies health will decrease on hit, so they can die

MAIN MENU idea :idea2:

Look at the picture and you will se my idea.
You drive your car on the left side of the screen. As you drive over (lets say first circle from the top) you will see the text (right from that circle) in this case NEW GAME becoming more red (BLOODY) and add some particle effect of blood sparkling from the text (as on the picture). But that is not all. There will be zombies on the right side of the screen running randomly over the field but when you stand over some circle they will start running towards the blood sparkling from that letters?when you move from that menu they again randomly run over the screen and so on?I hope you get the point?

I know my English sucks big time, but I am now in a big hurry and don?t have the time to correct my self?

Tell me what you think!!!

I like the idea exept for driving part, it will slow down menu navigation which should be as easy as possible. But the zombies part is cool :)

Maybe you could use just UP and Down arrows and then the car would move it self to the next button. That way it would be easyer, but without the car would be great too.

Car can be on the side, on mouse_over some option - car moves by itself up & down, no other directions; and it kills zombies on the way.

I don't know about zombies fallowing the selected menu option.. rather to make them fallow your mouse cursor (just the close ones) and you can hit them when you swing strong over them ;)

That car is a real air pollutioner, maybe less smoke would seem more real couse this looks like something between 3 and 4 to me. Nice effect tough. :thumbsup:

good smoke, but u can enhance it by making it dark when engine is near end... from gray to black

Smoke from burning tires is white and shorter (life). Other than that I think the effect is smooth.

UPDATE: v0.7.57
- 10 car states of decomposition with nice alpha-thru pics effect
- Bunkers (detaching and..) flying around
- Dead zombies (3 for now) stay on ground for next 38sec.

- Blood from hiting zombies (I know that zombies don't have blood and I don't care)

Good make up, but isnt zombies too big when they are dead? Usualy when car pick you up you are squashed and shrinked.. Unless Nikola wanted to express funny state of body as if a steam roller was went over them so body stretched somehow :P
